OHV GRANT APPLICATION
The Amador County Sheriff’s Office has applied for the 2010/2011 State of California Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) grant for law enforcement activities. The preliminary application will be available for public comment online by visiting the California State OHV Grants and Cooperative Agreements program at www.ohv.parks.ca.gov. The Amador County Sheriff is responsible for many duties, including:
- Responding to law enforcement calls for a service in the unincorporated County of Amador and contractual cities.
- Providing patrol and investigative services in the unincorporated County of Amador and contractual cities.
- Providing Emergency 911, law enforcement and ambulance dispatch services throughout Amador County.
- Operating the Amador County Jail.
- Providing security to the Superior Courts of Amador County.
- Operating the Coroner's Bureau
- Overseeing the Director of the Office of Emergency Services
